Pittsfield Township corn maze and pumpkin patch is autumn tradition for many families.

Autumn is in full swing for Lou and Josh Brasee at Brasee’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Pittsfield Township, between Wellington and Oberlin on Route 58.

The perennial favorite destination for many area families includes an eight-acre corn maze, pick-your-own-pumpkin patch, pumpkin bowling, a mechanical pumpkin, hay rides, a petting zoo, a corn pit, a children’s corn maze, photo ops, a straw slide, a bounce house, and a campfire to warm yourself on a crisp fall day.

“It’s so nice that people keep coming back,” Lou Brasee said. “People are so good to us and support us.”

Josh Brasee added that people keep coming back because it’s affordable for the whole family. “Once you pay for admission, you can stay all day,” Josh said.

This year marks their 15th in business, and as a family-owned business, they concentrate on providing a place for other families who enjoy fall activities.

“This is a safe environment for families to bring their kids for a day full of fun,” Lou said. “So come out and see our farm, our little piece of the world. Enjoy the day and pick some pumpkins.”

The corn maze features five stamp stations, providing an extra challenge for visitors who can try to collect all five stamps to earn a prize. There is a concession stand to grab a bite to eat. Also available for purchase are straw bales, corn stalks, and of course, pumpkins.
