While the cooperative's first priority is delivering safe, affordable, reliable electricity to those we serve, we also feel strongly about supporting and contributing to the development of our communities. Every person who works at Lorain-Medina Rural Electric lives here in the community. We're friends and neighbors first.
Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative strives to be a good steward to the communities we serve. The cooperative undertakes a variety of community projects, including the People Fund. Since inception, the People Fund has awarded more than $1.6 million to organizations and individuals in need. The cooperative also serves as a sponsor for the Lorain and Medina county fairs.
