The Member Advisory Committee consists of 9-18 total members (1-2 per district) of Lorain-Medina Rural Electric (LMRE). Members meet twice per year for 2-3 hours per session to learn about electric issues, receive education about cooperative policy and procedures, and help to inform members at large about services and events related to the operations and management of LMRE.

Committee members are appointed by the LMRE board of directors to serve a three-year term. These appointments run concurrently with the terms served by directors on the electric board.

Committee members will receive a per diem for their time.
